automatic signin with document library

Hello

This solution works perfectly with login to a web site.
But when I try to open a word document I have some trouble with FBA authentication.
When Microsoft Word starts it asks me for credentials, or when I put on the form I have an access denied error although these credential are used to connect to the site.

Do you know this issue? It's a problem of configuration ?

Hello

I use fiddler to see what's wrong in the authentication steps when I use autosignin page instead of default page

When the autosignin page is used the redirect method call authentication.aspx page. In "normal way" this page is not call.

Here you can see the fiddler capture for the normalway

When I use the autosignin page the fiddler capture show

It's appair the access denied is fired when the user try to access again to the authenticate.aspx page.

We had the same issue, we had to adjust several cookie settings, but finally corrected the issue.

I am pretty sure we touched every cookie setting known to man, but the final fix was changing the cookie sessions from server side to client side.
$sts.UseSessionCookies = $false

Hi

The default value of UseSessionCookies is false.
I check my settings and it was on false.

I think is an other customisation in cookie settings that permit the change

In my case I can't change the cookie settings in client side.
