Redirect Forms users to custom login page

Apr 18, 2013 at 9:14 PM
Hi,

I've configured the auto sign-in solution today
  • internal IP's are logged in directly. this is fine
  • external IP's are redirected to the SharePoint 2010 default login page for Forms users.
Now I want to redirect the external users to a custom login page.
The login page is located here: ~/_layouts/CustomLoginPage/Login.aspx

How can this be done?

Thanks!

Hi

In the configuration you have a property call SignInPageMappings.
In this property you can put the url to your custom login page for Forms user with the key "default"

For more information look here in the comments https://spautomaticsignin.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Configuration&referringTitle=Documentation

Hi Phil

I've added the following configuration:
$config.SingInPageMappings.Add("default","~/_layouts/MyLoginPage/Login.aspx")
$config.Update()

Now I get the following error message:
No authentication provider is mapped to your request address, or no matching authentication provider could be found.

Any idea what goes wrong here?

Hi

Maybe you have a problem in the address. try removing the ~ that start your login page

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the support.

Adding the mapping without the ~ works. Although I'm now having this automatic sign-in solution linked to my custom login page that I created (which feels a bit buggy), everything seems to work fine. So I will do some additional testing to be sure...

I've added the following additional configuration (next to the provider/IP mapping that I already had):

$config.SingInPageMappings.Add("default","/_layouts/MyLoginPage/Login.aspx")
$config.SingInPageMappings.Update()
